I believe that this show was taped in 1976 or later, since the showed the Magic Mountain ride "The Revolution", which debuted in 1976. According to wikipedia, he had already been convicted of child rape (1968), had been a fugitive, and had been a murder suspect. You'd think the dating game would have done a better background check.
